Conservation Crew Leader Student Conservation Association. May 2010-August 2011    
      Lead High School Trail Crews in conservation projects in Dinosaur National Monument and Olympic National Park. Managed crew dynamics, assessed/designed/executed trail projects, planned and executed food and recreation supplies and equipment budgets and conducted all transportation for the duration of the backcountry project. Organized environmental education activities, and was responsible for all equipment management, as well as food and shelter for the crew. Responsible for all crew safety oversight for the duration of the program, and organized and conducted multiple medical evacuations in backcountry settings.

    Founded and initiated CSC’s first Volunteer Program. Acted as sole managerial supervision for a team of volunteers
       working in underserved South King County Public Schools. Integrated prior volunteer and refugee experience into the 
      community schools model of integrated services. Worked to provide volunteers to tutor, mentor and teach youth,
       including a large refugee and first generation population.
    Responsible for initiating all material, managerial and human resources into the volunteer program. Started
      background check program, prepared job descriptions, conducted all recruitment and facilitated trainings.
 Managed caseload and created program material regarding all stages of the volunteer pipeline. Participated in starting the CSC Anti Racism Committee.

      outreach to clients and built networking from the ground up.

·          As editor of photography overhauled photo department by bringing on new photographers and increasing inter-departmental interaction between photography and layout editors. Managed weekly assignments for a corps of photographers; delineated tasks, disciplined staff, scheduled meetings and organized communication.

Nature Center Staff. 2006
Wilderness Conservancy at Mountain Lake. Pembroke, VA. 24136.
     Mediation and coordination skills developed through exposure to demanding clients at a wilderness resort. Acted as an intermediary between an international hotel chain, tourists looking to enjoy vacation time, and a wilderness conservancy attempting to balance education, preservation, and accessibility in a unique and fragile ecosystem.
